Why I’m Building Archeress
Archeress isn’t just a business — it’s the culmination of years of searching for purpose, of trying and failing at ventures that never fully captured my heart. My passions were shifting, a quiet feminism was stirring inside me, and I began to see the cracks in the world around me: the rising cost of living, the mountains of waste piling up from disposable products, and the lack of real options for women and girls navigating their changing bodies.
Then it became personal. My daughter got her first period at nine. By twelve, she was already a D cup — and there was nothing cute, age-appropriate, or safe for her to wear. I remember the helplessness I felt — how do you tell a child that the world has no answer for her? That what should be a normal, empowering part of growing up comes with chemicals, discomfort, and shame?
I dove deep, learning about the toxic chemicals in disposable products, the risks they carry, and the realities facing young girls today. I couldn’t ignore it. My daughter deserved better — safer, healthier, and beautiful options that honored her body and growing confidence.
Archeress was born from that urgency, that frustration, and that love. It’s more than underwear — it’s care stitched into every seam, confidence woven into every fibre, and a promise to girls, women, and anyone navigating life in their body: you deserve comfort, style, and respect. Every piece we create — Flow, Pulse, Embrace — is designed with that truth at its heart.
